Tits to Bulbuls
Long-tailed Tit Aegithalos caudatus - The race that occurs in Turkey, alpinus, is quite distinctive, although the black bib they're supposed to show wasn't well-marked; 4 were seen well at Demircili, and others were seen or heard at at least one other location.

Blue Tit Cyanistes caeruleus (Parus caeruleus) - Small numbers at a few locations.
Great Tit Parus major - Probably the commonest and most widespread tit, though it didn't seem as common as they are at home.
Coal Tit Periparus ater (Parus ater) - Seen or heard between Dermicili and Uzuncaburç and at Akseki.
Sombre Tit Poecile lugubris (Parus lugubris) - 2-3 seen on both visits to Durnalık and singles near Nemrut Dağı and at Akseki.

Krüper’s Nuthatch Sitta krueperi - 2 just north of Fındıklı (between Ҫamardi and Pozanti) and about 4 at Akseki.

Rock Nuthatch Sitta neumayer - At least 24 at a variety of sites, many of them nesting in amongst ancient historic sites.

Eastern Rock Nuthatch (Persian Nuthatch) Sitta tephronota - About 4 heard calling in the Nemrut Dağı Milli Parkı, only one of which was eventually seen well, and another seen briefly. No ordinary Rock Nuthatches were definitely recorded in this area, although they are supposed to occur.

Penduline Tit Remiz pendulinus - 2 in the Ihlara Valley, presumably a breeding pair.

Golden Oriole Oriolus oriolus - 2 in the cemetery at Birecik, at least 2 singing (1 seen) in the Ihlara Valley and 1 heard singing at Göreme.
Red-backed Shrike Lanius collurio - Common with nearly 50 seen. The best places were Göksu Delta and the road running north from Birecik.
Lesser Grey Shrike Lanius minor - A male at Göksu Delta and a total of 5 between Birecik and Sanliurfa.

Woodchat Shrike Lanius senator - A total of 24, about half of which were in the Nemrut Dağı Milli Parkı.

White-spectacled Bulbul Pycnonotus xanthopygos - Common in the south with 42 seen between Boyazr (Mediterranean coast) and Birecik. No more seen after we had left Birecik.
