Tambourine Dove Turtur tympanistria [5]

A frustrating species that was seen flying across the road in front of me three times and heard several times, but never seen well:

1 Zomba Plateau above Ku Chawe 15th, 1 heard Zomba Plateau at Chagwa Dam 16th, 1 on the way down from Zomba Plateau 17th, 1 Dzalanyama dambo 23rd, perhaps the same heard 24th and 1 heard Chongoni 25th.

Namaqua Dove Oena capensis [1]

1 Lengwe exit 21st - this was beside the track through the sugar cane plantation on the way out of Lengwe.
