Myrtle Warbler Dendroica (coronata) coronata
Int – 1 near Revelstoke 15th, 2 Vaseux Lake 19th. These individuals lacked any hint of yellow or buff on the throat and the whitish throat curved round towards the rear of the ear-coverts. Other features separating the eastern and western forms of Yellow-rumped Warbler were not checked however and with intergrades apparently common in British Columbia the identification of these as Myrtle Warbler should perhaps be regarded as tentative.
