Striated Heron Butorides striata
This species occurs across Africa, southern Asia, Australasia and South America but does not normally appear in Europe. I'm not sure if it has ever been accepted as occurring in Europe but it appears on some lists of Greek birds so presumably has at least been reported there as a vagrant. In North America it is replaced by Green Heron - the two species used to be treated as one, Green-backed Heron. Green Heron occurs in Europe as a vagrant.
