An extremely rare vagrant to Europe. Storm-driven birds are often recorded well outside of their usual range within North America but very few seem to survive crossing the Atlantic. Other species of Frigatebird have been recorded in Europe so if you are lucky enough to find one here do not assume it is necessarily Magnificent (but good luck to you identifying it)!
