Broad-billed Sandpiper Calidris falcinellus (formerly Limicola falcinellus)
A rare visitor to the UK. In the past the majority of records were of spring adults in May, with Breydon Water in Norfolk amassing a remarkable lion's share of the records; autumn juveniles have always been much rarer. However in recent years spring records have diminished sharply and this has become a much less regular visitor to our shores.
